The Digital Future of Media

I have been seeing more and more in the media that our not too distant future will feature digital delivery of most of our media, including movies, books, video games, etc.  Now I also see some people complaining how they like having the physical presence of a purchase they have made and don’t look forward to when digital delivery becomes the norm.  Well from someone who has a pretty extensive collection of DVD’s, books, and video games, I for one can’t wait until these are available to just convienently download to it’s respective hard drive.  Itunes has done wonders with my music collection and I will welcome a similar style system for different forms of media with open arms.
